This policy explains what information aspectratiocalculator.com ("we", "the site") collects when you use it and how that information is used. The short version: we do not require accounts, we do not upload your files, and we only collect anonymous usage statistics and standard advertising data where those services are enabled.
Information you enter
Numbers typed into the calculator and images selected in the image tool are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers or to anyone else. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage so it is remembered on your next visit; it never leaves your device.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the tools are used. Google Analytics collects information such as your approximate location, device type, browser, and the pages you view, using cookies or similar identifiers. IP addresses are anonymised where the service supports it. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-onor by blocking cookies in your browser.
Advertising
To keep the site free we may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and performance. These logs are retained for a limited period under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
If you email us we keep your message and address only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost none, the practical step is to email us and we will confirm what, if anything, we have.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
